Bookish Updates!

Recently I have been thinking a lot about ways I can make my site better and my social media. I have also been crazy with work and unable to read as much as I would like. So I came up with this kind of middle ground. I used to only post book reviews and then my monthly books to look forward too, however, from now on I plan to post little reading updates here!

Hey everyone!

So as my Thanksgiving break comes to a close I have officially finished five books during that time! I plan to try to get all those reviews up this week, space them out a little bit. As well as the December list up! It will be a busy week here on the site. Also, take a look at Instagram this week as things will be hopping over there as well. It is going to be a busy week but let’s dive in! (Also, I do have a youtube channel with about two videos on it, and I am considering participating in Bookmas, we will see, I know that is a big undertaking so I will have to see if I have time).

It’s been a bit since I did a quick bookish update! I recently finished two books which I am about to write up reviews for, I am listening to several others and reading others as well now. I feel like I am on a reading roll currently. With the holidays coming I will have more time away from work to read, so let’s see where this time takes me!

I have been attempting to read whenever I can outside of work! I started reading the Cheerleaders and I am really enjoying it so far. I am also listening to the Diviners (something I have put off for far too long), I feel like it’s a perfect October book. Also I have been watching the Haunting at Hill House on Netflix, which also gives super spooky October vibes.

I have officially finished Leah on the Offbeat (I finished it Sunday or Monday night) so expect a review for that very soon. I really enjoyed it and I find that Becky’s books always help me to relax. I also got a chance to watch Nappily Ever After on Netflix (which was also a good movie). I am now about halfway done with Save The Date, I may finish that tonight. We will see!

I officially started my fall break on Friday, I got to relax some, catch up on some cleaning, I went to see Venom (Friday night), and have been reading! So far I have read about 75 pages of Save the Date by Morgan Matson, I am really loving this book and I feel like it is just helping me to relax all the more. I also have been listening to Leah on the Offbeat and I only have about an hour and a half left so hopefully I will get this done today or tomorrow! I plan to post a fall break TBR on my Instagram today or tomorrow.
